WHAT: Local breastfeeding moms and their babies will come together for a local Latch On and Family Fair to celebrate and support breastfeeding families as part of World Breastfeeding Week and National Breastfeeding Month.
Promptly at 11:30 a.m., attendees will join a local latch-on to help set a local record for one simultaneous minute of breastfeeding and pumping mothers.

WHY: Breastfeeding is the recommended standard for infant feeding because of the numerous benefits of human milk. Major health organizations advocate for exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months and ongoing support for families beyond that period. ChristianaCare wants the community to know that we offer various services to assist families throughout their breastfeeding or pumping journey.
