Before patients begin arriving this June, members of the media are invited inside ChristianaCare Hospital, Aston for an exclusive preview tour of Delaware County’s newest neighborhood hospital and emergency care facility.
The new hospital is designed to help restore local access to emergency and inpatient care in the region. The Aston Campus will open in phases, beginning with a fully licensed, 24/7 neighborhood hospital and emergency department in early June, followed by an outpatient health center on the second floor in fall 2026.
The hospital will feature 10 inpatient beds and an emergency department equipped to handle common emergencies such as falls, injuries, heart attacks and strokes. It will also provide diagnostic services, including ultrasound, CT scans, X-rays and lab testing, along with access to virtual consults for specialized support in neurology and cardiology.
Media will have the opportunity to tour the neighborhood hospital, capture video and photographs inside clinical spaces and speak with ChristianaCare leaders about how the campus will serve the community.
