WHAT: ChristianaCare’s 2025 Environmental Health Conference — “Building a Healthier Tomorrow” — brings together clinicians, public health experts and community organizations to explore how environmental challenges affect health — and how partnerships can drive solutions. Hosted by ChristianaCare’s Environmental Sustainability Caregiver Committee, the event features presentations by leading health care professionals, expert panels and a community resource fair highlighting local environmental initiatives. Attendees will leave with practical strategies to strengthen community resilience and improve health outcomes.
WHY: At ChristianaCare, we recognize the powerful connection between the environment and human health. As part of our mission to positively impact the health of everyone in the communities we serve, we are committed to advancing environmental stewardship and sustainability. We understand that environmental health directly influences community health, and that health care organizations must take responsibility for reducing their environmental impact.
WHO: Speakers and panelists include representatives from ChristianaCare, Nemours, Cooper University Health, University of Delaware, University of Pennsylvania, Delaware Nature Society and others.
